Annual Summer School for Chemistry Teachers

The sixth annual BASF Summer School for Chemistry Teachers which will be held in University College Cork on Tues 27th June & Wed 28 June 2017. (Day 2 is a repeat of Day 1). The theme for the Summer School is Great ideas and teaching resources for teachers of Leaving Certificate Chemistry.

This Summer School for Chemistry Teachers has always proved very popular with teachers and each year it has been found necessary to repeat it on a second day to cater for the demand for places. In view of the fact that this summer school is also expected to be very popular with teachers, the session taking place on Tuesday 27th June is being repeated on Wednesday 28th June. Due to the emphasis on laboratory practical work, the number of teachers attending each day will be limited to 30. All bookings must be made via PDST on the online booking form which is available at: www.pdst.ie/onlinebooking

Travel expenses and subsistence allowance will be paid by PDST under the usual terms.

Places will be allocated strictly in the order in which applications are received.

Certificates of Attendance will be presented to all teachers who attend this continuing professional development course.
