From November 5th, evening meetings will take place in Education Centres throughout the country. Each of these meetings will consist of a workshop on the use of resources produced by a team of experienced Chemistry Teachers.
The following topics are included:
(i) SEC recent circular: We will provide you with the latest information on the new practical to prepare benzoic acid. Videos of the cobalt chloride experiments and the solvent extraction of clove oil will be available.
(ii) Assessment for Learning: Chemistry apps for your computer and phone to aid assessment for learning strategies.
(iii) Chemical Formula Resource: Templates provided
(iv) Stimulus to engage activities: Kick start your lessons. Get your students attention with these instant attention grabbing Chemistry resources to introduce new topics or just to spark a conversation.
