ELLS Learning LAB in Heidelberg

The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) invites European secondary school science teachers to apply for the ELLS LearningLAB “The new gene technology revolution exploring genome engineering and transgenic animal research” at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany.

The 2.5-day professional training course in English will consist of a mix of seminars by EMBL scientists, hands-on activities, lab experiments and visits to state-of-the-art research facilities at EMBL. The programme will cover a wide range of topics and highlight the use of cutting-edge gene technologies and transgenic animals in research, and how these topics may be transferred to the classrooms.
