Noah's Ark or Noah's Coffin - The Challenge of Biodiversity
The annual Darwin Day Lecture as arranged by the Humanist Association of Ireland will be given by Nigel Monaghan, Keeper of the Natural History Division of the National Museum of Ireland.

Dublin Branch Event for Diploma students and Newly Qualified Teachers
On Wed. 10th February the Dublin Branch held its annual evening for Diploma students and Newly Qualified Teachers in Sandford Park School. Experienced teachers in all three disciplines added a little of sparkle to the teaching of science. Attendance was over 40 and it was a very successful event thanks to all concerned.

National Final of the ISTA Pharmachemical Ireland Senior Science Quiz
The National Final of the ISTA Pharmachemical Ireland Senior Science Quiz took place on Saturday 28th November in the Edmund Burke Theatre, Trinity College, Dublin. There were 108 Leaving Certificate science students from 36 schools nationwide. Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin was the guest Quizmaster. Míle Buíochas do gach duine!
