This meeting, which has proved very popular in previous years, will be open to ISTA members only.
I’m a Scientist is a free online science enrichment project, X Factor style competition for scientists, where secondary students are the judges. It’s coming back to Ireland for the second time this November 11th – 22nd.
The Dublin Branch will host Sheila Porter CEO of Scifest who will speak about 'Preparing Students for Science Fairs' on Tuesday November 5th at 7pm in Wesley College, Ballinteer.
This year ChemEd-Ireland returns to Limerick and features a number of talks and workshops to give new ideas for chemistry teachers. These include new information about the changes to the current Chemistry syllabus, new methods of utilising ICT in Chemistry and new perspectives for Junior Certificate and for exams.
Cork Branch will host an information evening with input from guest speakers and teachers on Thursday 17th October in the Eureka Centre UCC at 7.30pm.
Kerry Branch are holding a discussion on the assessment and marking scheme of the 2013 JC Science exam. The session will be facilitated by an experienced examiner. Please confirm attendance by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
