ISTA PharmaChemical Ireland Senior Science Quiz 2009

The Final of the ISTA Senior Science Quiz was held in the Edmund Burke in Trinity College on Saturday 28th November. There were 108 Leaving Certs from 36 schools nationwide. Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin was the guest Quizmaster. Míle Buíochas do gach duine!

ICI Schools Chemistry Newsletter Competition 2014

The Institute of Chemistry of Ireland together with The Society for Chemical Industry, Ireland Section, and The Irish Science Teachers’ Association, sponsors the Schools Chemistry Newsletter Competition.

This competition is open to all second level students who are interested in Chemistry. Entrants must submit a 4 x A4 Newsletter, suitable for the non-scientist, explaining clearly and accurately the significance of any aspects of chemistry in an engaging, informative and easily intelligible manner. The theme for this year is "Teenagers’ Perceptions of Chemistry".
