ISTA PharmaChemical Ireland Teacher Awards
The 2012 ISTA PharmaChemical Ireland Teacher Awards are now open. School Principals are asked to nominate a team of excellent teachers from their school who are worthy of such an award. The winning team will receive €1,200 with runner up teams receiving €600. Full details are available in the attached document.
SciFest 2012
Now in its seventh year, SciFest has given almost 10,000 students an opportunity to present and display scientific investigations. The closing date for receipt of entry forms this year is 2nd March 2012. Details of Exhibition dates and venues are attached.

Winners of BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition
The winner of the 48th annual BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2012 were Leaving Cert students Eric Doyle and Mark Kelly, from Synge Street CBS, Dublin 8 have taken home the top prize for their project entitled, “Simulation accuracy in the gravitational many-body problem” in the Chemical, Physical & Mathematical Sciences category, senior section.
