CRANN, Ireland’s leading Nanoscience Research Institute in Trinity College, is hoping to add another module to the ‘Nano in my Life’ series for TY students, and would like to get a second level science teacher on board to assist in designing content, as they did with the first set of modules.
The two week internship will be a paid position based in CRANN at Trinity College. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about nanoscience in CRANN, a world-class facility. You will be developing supplemental material for the ‘Nano in my Life’ module series focusing on the concept of building nano materials and exploring the various ways this can be achieved. The content that you develop will be professionally designed and available for download from September 2013 for teachers nationwide.
You do not need a great knowledge of nanoscience but enthusiasm, creativity, good research and writing skills are essential. Further details are attached.
