IASTA

IASTA will hold a meeting of their executive on Monday June 22nd, at Luttrelstown Castle and Golf Club, Castleknock. One item on the agenda will be the review of the Leaving Certificate Agricultural Science examinations, both Higher & Ordinary Level. 

There seems to have been a positive response to the Leaving Cert Agricultural Science papers this year with one teacher describing it as  “a student friendly”. However, a thorough dissection of the paper is always a valuable exercise and IASTA will send a report to the Chief Examiner. Places are limited for the examination review. If you wish to attend you can text your name & school to IASTA (087-4355236) or email iastasecretary@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Alternatively, members are encouraged to email any comments on the higher and ordinary level papers to IASTA and these will form part of the report.
