Light Sticks These contain two solutions inside a a 20 cm plastic tube. Bending the tube causes the two solutions to mix and to generate ‘cold’ light. The purpose of these is as emergency lights for campers and boaters, but they show the conversion of chemical energy to light energy in a very dramatic way. €1.50 each (+ 95 c postage)
