RDS STEM Learning National Conference

Registration is now open for the 2016 RDS STEM Learning National Conference for Primary School Teachers.

Entitled ‘The Outdoor Classroom on Your Doorstep’ this one day symposium will take place in the RDS on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Featuring a keynote address by Sam Kendall of the Eden Project, Cornwall, the conference will focus on using STEM investigations as a context for cross-curricular outdoor learning in primary schools and is designed to bring together researchers in education and primary school teachers to share experience and best practice in primary school stem education and teacher CPD through a series of presentations, workshops and networking sessions.

An Early Bird Registration for €50 is available until October 26 with registration including teaching materials, refreshments, lunch and parking.

Together the RDS and Discover Primary Science and Maths/ESERO offer a range of continuous professional development opportunities in science and maths education to primary school teachers.
