ICI Schools’ Chemistry Competition 2018-19
The Institute of Chemistry of Ireland Schools’ Chemistry Competition is now open to all second level students. The theme is The Periodic Table of Elements. This year entrants should be creative and design a poster with this theme. Only individual entrants are allowed.
2019 has been designated International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements by the United Nations. (IYPT 2019)
It recognised the importance of raising global awareness of how chemistry promotes sustainable development and provides solutions to global challenges in energy, education, agriculture and health.
IYPT 2019 will coincide with the 150th anniversary of the discovery of the Periodic System by Dmitry Mendeleev in 1869.
Closing date: 31st March 2019.
