Learning2Change Our World – Promoting Education for Sustainable Development in Secondary Schools

ECO-UNESCO is running 4 FREE teacher training events in late November- early December. The training will explore links between DE/ESD and the curriculum, with a focus on both subject specific and cross-curricular links highlighting the importance of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the curriculum at both junior and senior cycle.

It provides great networking opportunities for teachers and give the confidence to deliver ESD, and provide ongoing support through the online learning platform ‘Edmodo’.

This will also provide the opportunity to reflect on what opportunities exist for expanding and developing resources to include in lesson plans.

LIMERICK: 1st December 9.30 – 12.30
MONAGHAN: 6th December 9.30 -12.30
