Lecture on Ancient Babylonian Mathematics and Astronomy

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Maynooth University have the pleasure of announcing the fifth annual Huxley Lecture on the History of Mathematics. The publicly accessible talk ‘How Ancient Babylonians predicted the paths of planets’ will be given by Professor Mathieu Ossendrijver from the Free University of Berlin, on Thursday 7th of April at 6 pm.
It will run both in-person in JHL4, John Hume Building, North Campus of Maynooth University and online via zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87233261988).
