Approved by the Department of Education and Skills, this Award will be delivered by DCU in collaboration with partners in the University of Limerick (UL) and NUI Galway (NUIG).
Duration: 2 years, part-time

Mode of Delivery: Blended learning (online and face-to-face)
Commencing: 18th January 2021
Students will complete 10 content-based modules (10x5 ECTS credits each) and participate in online lectures and tutorials as well as face-to-face support tutorials. Students will also complete two experimental-based modules (2 x 5 ECTS credits each) and complete laboratory investigations on six Saturdays during each year. Students will complete 15 ECTS credits of physics pedagogy modules, that will require participation in 2 weeks of summer schools in Year 1, carrying out as inquiry on their own practice throughout Year 2 and culminating in a summer school in Year 2.
