Regional Finals of ISTA Senior Science Quiz 2011

Congratulations to all who participated in the Regional Finals of the ISTA Senior Science Quiz held nationally on Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm. There were 277 teams of three students that’s 831 Leaving Certificate science students participating in the quiz. Well done to all their teachers for making the effort of getting them prepared and a sincere thanks to all the organisers at the various venues. Results attached.

ISTA teachers of all Finalists should have received email correspondence from me at this stage. If you did not, there is:
(a) an issue over ISTA membership or (b) your email address failed – some emails did bounce back!!

In summary all teams should be accompanied by an ISTA teacher, as outlined in the quiz rules, and teams must be seated by 1.55pm. Check in begins at 1.30pm and table numbers will be assigned at registration. The expected finish time is 4pm approximately.
